edit2: still rough, but laid down most of the colors, now i have to detail and work on lights and shadows. thanks everyone for the feedback on color crits. I will take all your thoughts and suggestions into consideration and apply to the best of my ability. : D



edit: went in to work more with hair/skin and fleshed out some of the clothing color scheme(s).

I like the clothing colors so far, especially the blended pink-white on the sleeve. Perhaps though, you could tone down the green, it's a bit too burn-your-eyes-out (unless that fits Yin's personality?) I'd also like to see a little more warmth in her skin tone because it seems pasty (unless she is a demon or vampire =D ) Good job so far.

Can't wait for the finished version! I'm in love with the details and the hair -- I have the most trouble CG-ing hair and skin, and you've done amazingly on both, so far!

8D;; my thinking on this was that in nature, when we see a lot of bright colors in exotic animals, it usually means they're really poisonous XD;; but the bright green is me laying down what i want the hightlighted color to be. I will tone it down when I add in shadows/shading. I will keep in mind the warmth in skin tones. thanks for the feedback.
