what's with me and running away or getting away and such.
anyways, this was a really cheesy approach at introducing myself to sequential art again. and i realized how hard it is and harder for me still because i'm so out of it, having done really static pieces for the longest time. teh pink you see is blush, the green watercoors, the brown and blue prisma color pencils, the grey graphite and the lines a mix of tech pens and indian ink.
i think i just need to get away for a while, destress and all that jazz.
I like her pose/expression in the central panel on the top part/page thing. She looks so very determined. Cute stuff, and brilliant idea, using blush for the pink. You're good with the mixing of media.
I just love how you arranged the sequence of frames, it moves your eye along nicely, especially the frames at the bottom that lead your eye up as she takes flight. It's a lovely little piece of sequencial art
Oooh, I love the limited use of color! ;3; Very nice decisions to emphasize the birds so... <3 And damn, no joke, I adore the design of the trees in the background, they look so whimsical and unique. The wings are so detailed and I love the simple expressions in the second part... And honestly, I really enjoy the theme as well, and I think you did a lovely job with it; I wouldn't have thought it cheesy at all myself, so.
I fell in love with this. I just... I don't know what else to say.
I love it! *tears of joy*
